Dr. Anil Sinha

Dr. Sinha began his design journey in 1973 at Patna College of Fine Arts and holds a Master’s in Outdoor Publicity from MS University, Baroda. He spent over three decades at the National Institute of Design (NID), where he held several leadership roles and served on its Governing Council and Policy and Planning Committee. Since 2016, he has been leading GLS Institute of Design, with a focus on contributing to the ‘Making of India through Design Teaching, Design Practice, and Design Thinking’. He is also the author of two books - Ideating Identity and Patna to Paldi which reflect his deep engagement with Indian design thought and practice.
