Rizvi Manzavalli

Rizvi Manzavalli is a product designer, educator and entrepreneur, and the Chair of the Chennai Design Festival. An alumnus of the National Institute of Design, he has worked across entrepreneurship, industrial design and academia, with experience spanning Brother in Japan, Xerox in the United States and international projects across Europe and Asia. As Vice President Strategy and Head of Industrial Design at Dot School of Design, he has helped build curricula, teams and industry partnerships. His research on Keeladi and Dravidian design systems connects Tamil design heritage with contemporary practice.
