Dr. Anil Sinha spent 33 years at the National Institute of Design (NID), where he chaired the Integrated Design Services, Knowledge Management Centre, Outreach and Industry Programmes and Projects for many years. He was also a member of NID\u2019s Governing Council, and Policy and Planning Committee.<\/p>\n
In March 2016, Dr. Sinha took over as the Director of GLS Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, where his focus is to contribute to the \u2018Making of India through Design Teaching, Design Practice, and Design Thinking\u2019. He has made a profound contribution to the study of retail experience culminating in \u2018Factors Influencing Retail Experience: A Design Study from the perspective of Colour and Form\u2019, a comprehensive source of reference material. Dr. Sinha was a member of the jury that selected the Indian rupee symbol.<\/p>\n
He has headed and visualised two galleries in Discovery of India, a permanent exposition at Nehru Centre Bombay, as well as the Tirupati-Tirumala Museum Project.
