A multi-disciplinary design studio with an in-house production facility, it has acquired the label of ‘a preferred design partner’ for large corporates in the country. With design as its core strength, Blue Pebble Design Studio provides consultancy and engages in design-led projects for international clients as well.
Project 1 – British Petroleum, Pune – Spatial Design
Blue Pebble’s design for the British Petroleum office in Pune is an exceptional fusion of modern aesthetics and Indian cultural elements. Keeping the Indian sensibilities and vast cultural spread, the office has special curated zones which transports people to the Mughal era, or the colourful festivals of India. Handpicked artifacts from different parts of the country add to the diversity of the space, and saree-clad columns give glimpses of India’s rich handloom heritage. The office exudes a sense of belonging with the warmth of Indian hospitality. The glass manifestations and the engraved wooden signages complement the overall aesthetics. The space is further enriched with locally sourced materials and fabrics that are proudly made in India. The additions of corner lamps and Indian patterned pouffes, make this office stand a unique workplace.
Project 2 – Infosys, Multi Campus – Spatial Design
As offices looked at re-opening after a two-year hiatus, Blue Pebble embarked on a journey towards workplace transformation with IT-major Infosys. Over the last two years, they have worked on standardising the workplace transformation principles across India by defining environmental branding guidelines. Each building in every campus has been transformed architecturally with an in-depth research and focus towards best-in-class branding practices. The workplace branding includes wall graphics, art works, murals, signages, and glass films. Together with Infosys, they have reimagined workspaces to across all Indian campuses to foster productivity, inspire creativity, and reflect their forward-thinking vision.
Project 3 – HDFC Campus, Mohali – Graphic Design
Immersing themselves in the local flavours and regional artistry, Blue Pebble has meticulously crafted a visual extravaganza that welcomes you to Punjab’s cultural tapestry. The central lobby on each floor, envelopes visitors with an unmistakable “Welcome to Punjab” vibe, where tradition meets modernity in a seamless fusion of design. But beyond the awe-inspiring aesthetics, the Mohali campus is a testament to HDFC’s deep commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability. The design narrative extends beyond mere visuals, serving as a powerful communication platform that showcases the bank’s extensive range of programs and community efforts across the country. The Mohali campus stands as a beacon of creativity and innovation, exemplifying HDFC’s vision to seamlessly blend business excellence with social impact.
Project 4 – Nestlé, Gurgaon – Graphic Design
Blue Pebble took the unconventional route for re-modelling the ‘The Nest’ in Gurgaon, creating a single template drawing inspiration from the distinctive packaging aesthetics of each product under its portfolio. A captivating mosaic art portrait of the founder, Sir Henry Nestle, adorns the triple-height ceiling of the central atrium. This masterpiece is crafted using various forms of packaging materials, paying homage to the brand’s heritage. The breakout zones on each floor take employees on a nostalgic journey, immersing them in memories of enjoying Maggie noodles, witnessing the brewing process of Nescafe through coffee mug installations, or indulging in a playful break with a KitKat. As the regional head office, the cafeteria boasts a large wall mural showcasing the brand’s journey through the India. subcontinent.
Project 5 – Bank Of America, Ahmedabad – Spatial Design
Bank of America’s Gift City, Gandhinagar office immerses visitors in the rich and vibrant legacy of Gujarat. Spanning 25 floors, each level is meticulously themed to showcase the region’s diversity, including its famous festivals, iconic landmarks, captivating history, diverse artforms, and thriving trade and commerce. The design establishes a strong connection with the brand by seamlessly blending elements of Gujarat’s culture. One prominent feature is a large wall adorned with traditional dandiya sticks, intricately combined with the bank’s logo wrapped in locally crafted ‘Bandhej‘ cloth. It creates a visual representation of financial statistics that captures the essence of the brand. At the entrance, a flagship wall comes to life through the collaboration of local artisans. It features a mesmerising real-time wall mural created using traditional techniques of clay and mirror work, known as ‘Lippan Art‘. Each floor tells a story, inviting exploration and engagement with the region’s vibrant traditions and rich history.
