DesignIndia Mixin is a series of meet-ups that bring together designers to discuss the business of design and give it a definite direction with coordinated efforts. DesignIndia Mixin 2023, Mumbai Edition hosted veteran designer, Uday Dandavate who’s the Co-founder and CEO of SonicRim Ltd.

Uday had some incredible stories to share. He prefers to be known as a design activist, and an ethnographer of social imagination. He travels the world, studying and connecting with people and cultures. He seeks to humanise technologies and democratise design by enabling his clients to co-create solutions that help improve the lives of everyday people. Uday is an accomplished poet who’s set to release his third collection of poems.

The Mumbai edition of DesignIndia Mixin 2023 brought together around 15 seasoned and young designers from the Maximum City who learnt about Uday’s design journey. Design ruled the conversation as those present shared their ideas and experiences.
